BPitch Berlin continues to push the boundaries of the underground with the ninth chapter of their WE ARE NOT ALONE series – a 12-track compilation that effortlessly weaves together diverse sonic worlds, exploring the very essence of experimental and boundary-defying electronic music. From acid to industrial, EBM to trance, this compilation dissolves genre constraints, prioritizing the feeling each track conveys and its role in the ongoing evolution of the underground movement. The release will roll out in four distinct phases, each delivering a carefully curated selection of tracks that showcase the talent and vision of underground electronic music’s most exciting voices.

1st package (March 28th):The journey kicks off with DJ Europarking, a regular at UFO Inc., whose ‘Faze Swapp’ glides effortlessly between playful and unnerving, with a late ’90s hard-trance energy at its core. A bouncy, immersive rhythm carries the track forward as it submerges listeners into a world of hypnotic grooves, setting the tone for the auditory adventure to follow.

Next, BEC takes the spotlight with ‘Tibetan Monks,’ a hard, bass-heavy concoction of malfunctioning lasers and sharp, tweaky vocals that conjure an almost chaotic intensity. The track spins a web of electronic dissonance, setting the scene for what’s to come. Then, Aida Arko introduces ‘May Be Life Maybe Death,’ a mind-bending narrative that drifts through genre-defying landscapes, bending sound in strange and unexpected ways while conjuring an eerie, cinematic atmosphere.

2nd package (April 4th):
Sarah Sommers embarks on an all-hardware journey in ‘Industrial Espionage,’ where deep bass and synths stretch and swirl, wrapping around a pulsating percussive backbone. The track holds a relentless, hypnotic grip, pulling listeners deeper into its trance-like state. This energy continues with Gabby Diaz, whose ‘Bloody Dance’ serves up brutal kicks and wailing distortions that conjure an aggressive, frenetic energy on the dancefloor.

In contrast, Annē offers a breath of air with ‘A Tear In The Sofa,’ a minimalist masterpiece that pairs back the intensity, allowing for a darker, yet focused exploration of hypnotic rhythms. The atmosphere tightens, as if every beat carries the weight of something larger, yet held in balance.

3rd package (April 11th):
Then, DJ T-1000, a maestro of layered rhythms and shuffling percussion, brings a slick groove to the fore with ‘Unfeminine Woman,’ expertly balancing light swing and hypnotic energy. His track pulses with the soul of Detroit techno, seamlessly blending sharp rhythms with a magnetic groove. Byron Alvarado follows suit, infusing ‘I Wish You Had Listened To My Music’ with soulful, lightly swung techno, laced with melodic flourishes and flickers of euphoria, a perfect example of Detroit’s timeless influence.

Riding the wave of emotive energy, Omon Breaker taps into a synthwave-infused trance on ‘Interpreting Scars’ feat. Garden Krist—combining lush, atmospheric pads with a driving rhythmic pulse and ethereal vocals that glide like beams of light through a foggy night.

4th package (April 18th):
As the compilation reaches its crescendo, X-Alox charges in with ‘Sexy Sexy,’ a chaotic exploration of fast-paced percussion and maximalist acoustics that feels like an unrelenting whirlwind of sound, throwing listeners into a dizzying spin. Rebecca Delle Piane brings it back with ‘Ammore,’ balancing hypnotic rhythms with minimal, yet powerful kick-snares, a track that lingers in the air long after it’s finished.

Finally, Dr. Rubinstein and Blind Observatory join forces for ‘Express Lane,’ an irresistible, smooth hit of groovy acid that lands softly like a pillowy cloud. The track glistens, wrapping up the journey in a haze of hypnotic, atmospheric bliss, leaving behind an impression of soft euphoria.

From the depths of acid to the soaring heights of melodic trance, WE ARE NOT ALONE pt. 9 is more than just a compilation – it’s an auditory exploration of the collective energy that sustains the underground.
