The enigmatic production duo ÅNDfØLK are set to unveil their latest track, ‘Type A’ on November 17, 2023 via Caramel Records. With their personal identities shrouded in mystery to spotlight their music, ÅNDfØLK is an outfit whose shared passion for electronic music, folk tales, and animations led them on a mission to breathe new life into the dance music scene in the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world. With 3.7 million streams on Spotify alone, these sonic sorcerers have put out 10 releases, of which their tech house single Faces has over 1.7 million streams. ÅNDfØLK’s future plans include psychedelic live shows that are a cross between Alice In Wonderland and Day Zero, involving a cornucopia of multi-modal art and performance to create a live experience that touches all the senses.

Already given 5 stars by German producer Acid Pauli, Type A is a meticulously-crafted melodic/deep techno track designed to be a visceral, chest-rattling experience that only dance music can give us. It features a mesmerising miasma of swirling echoes, tasty synth stabs, a thumping four-on-the-floor and resonant bass, remaining unpredictable yet unremittingly captivating throughout. The star of the show is a trancey, arpeggiated vocal chop laid on top of an epic lower register; a truly hypnotic touch. ‘Type A’ will blow your socks off on any sound system, but still transport you to that moment in the hazy chaos of a massive night out where you walk onto the dance floor to meet your fate.

ÅNDfØLK divulged:‘Type A’ was created after a very big night at DC10 in Ibiza. And quite a few of the different DJs that we’ve played it to, and this has happened on five occasions, all external to each other, have gone: ‘F**k, I’d love to hear this at DC10!’”
