DJ Wax Tailor & rapper D Smoke release empowering music video

Critically acclaimed music producer Wax Tailor and rising rapper D Smoke share their visually striking music video for their single ‘Keep It Movin’. The entire video was shot and edited with all the social distancing measures in place. Wax Tailor is known as one of the main leaders of the hip-hop electro scene globally, and D Smoke is recognized by some of the greatest rappers of our time ( Snoop Dogg, Nas, Anderson Paak, Chance The Rapper and T.I. ).

The video was directed by Hugo Dauffy, who also did the motion designing for the video. A close team member shares; “We had to deal with the lockdown and no opportunity to organize a usual shooting. So, instead of postponing, Wax Tailor, D Smoke & Hugo Dauffy (the Director) took the challenge and bypassed the obstacle. They transformed it into a creative video with a homemade vibe. It was also a way to illustrate the topic to “Keep It Movin” no matter the circumstances, by any means necessary and by any technology. The team worked internationally, shooting in L.A, Paris and London for a final music video that combines innovative stop motion and 3D animation techniques.”

The video is a visually captivating masterpiece, with the striking use of greyscale filters and red as the focus colour in the video.
