MXGPU’s latest single, ‘find u’, hit the airwaves on July 18, 2025, through Discotexas. The Lisbon duo, Moullinex and GPU Panic, cooked up this track as a teaser for their debut album, Sudden Light, dropping September 26. Moullinex brings his electronic cred from remixing Cut Copy’s ‘Lights & Music‘ and pioneering AI visuals. Meanwhile, GPU Panic, a Red Bull Music Academy grad, has worked with Crosstown Rebels and Watergate. Together, they’ve rocked Primavera Porto and NOS Alive, plus sold out gigs at MAAT in Lisbon and Casa da Música in Porto.
‘find u’ dives into liquid drum & bass with smooth rhythms and edgy synths. The lyrics capture MXGPU’s essence, presence and raw feeling, with a hook that lingers, “I’m saving time for me and you, I’m there to guide you through it all.” It’s dancefloor fuel with a thoughtful edge.
The duo shared some thoughts. “ ‘find u’ stood out while we were writing Sudden Light,” they said. “It didn’t quite fit, so we debated trashing it or letting it shine. When we kicked off MXGPU, we swore off playing it safe. Our favorite artists switch genres without blinking, and that pushed us to keep ‘find u’ as our wild card. We love how it turned out.”
Sudden Light arrives September 26 via Discotexas.
