Today, July 18, 2025, Maz and Viot, two big names in Brazilian house, team up with Anduze for their new single ‘Ocean’, out on Dawn Patrol. Maz has been killing it on the global dance scene, rising from Brazil’s underground to headline spots at Coachella, EDC, and Electric Forest. His European summer’s packed, fresh off a Dawn Patrol gig in Paris, with Lisbon up next on September 7. He’s also hitting Ibiza, playing Pacha with BLOND:ISH and Camelphat, plus DC-10 with Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves crew. Big names like Black Coffee, Keinemusik, and Diplo back his tracks, ‘Amana‘, ‘Banho de Folhas‘, and ‘Jolie Fille‘, which have locked in his status. Meanwhile, Viot, real name Lauro Viotti, brings his own flavor, mixing Bossa Nova, Brazilian Hip Hop, Pop, House, and Techno. In just three years, he’s played Tomorrowland Brazil and Hï Ibiza, with songs like ‘Space Cowboy‘ (#68 on Beatport’s Top 100) and ‘Blitz (Você Não Soube Me Amar)‘ (#51) earning props from Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers.
‘Ocean’ kicks off with a tight, driving bassline that’s got a chill, coastal vibe, perfect for open air and sandy decks. Anduze’s vocals hit hard and clear, singing “Take me to the ocean, wash me in your water, drown me in emotion” with a raw call for release and connection. It’s simple, punchy, and works just as well on late-night dancefloors as it does at sunrise sets. The track nails the surf-rave crossover feel Dawn Patrol’s all about.
