Thaylo Unveils Emotionally Charged Drown In Your Eyes EP

French producer Thaylo delivers his latest project, Drown In Your Eyes EP, out today, September 5th, through PLAYY. Records. He’s also racked up over 5.8 million Spotify streams and landed releases on labels like Purified, Colorize, and Kontor. His melodic-leaning tracks have caught the ears of industry titans such as Martin Garrix, Nora En Pure, and Solomun. Recent cuts like ‘Let Me Be’ and ‘Save Your Tears’ got nods from outlets including When We Dip and House Music With Love, plus spots in Beatport’s Top 100 Progressive House and Deezer’s Top 100 in Indonesia. He’s also popped up on Spotify playlists like Chill Tracks, Melancholia, Afterhours, Open Air, Electronic Rising, and Summer House 2025. Inspired by Tomorrowland aftermovies, Thaylo dove into production, mixing, and mastering his own music, drawing from acts like M83, Ludovico Einaudi, and Solomun to blend melodic house with progressive and deep house elements.

The five-tracker kicks off with the title cut, a dreamy entry built on piano layers and uplifting vocals that pull you into a floating state. ‘Let Me Be’ rolls out a laid-back bass groove with a gripping vocal line for some thoughtful vibes, while ‘Save Your Tears’ mixes melodic house elements with steady pulses and open-air feels. ‘One Life’ builds from soft vocals and changing patterns into a high-energy drop suited for festival sets. Wrapping it up, the focus track ‘Last Forever’ drives forward with a pulsing rhythm that’s both entrancing and uplifting, sealing the EP on a strong emotional high.

Thaylo shared: “For a while now, I’ve been exploring the use of my voice in my tracks. This EP marks the first time I’ll release a complete project featuring my own vocals. I discovered that when I sing on my own music, something special happens—a unique and more authentic mood emerges. This was the starting point for the creation of my EP: combining this newfound vibe with my signature universe, which blends melodic tones and electronic synths. To me, this EP embodies the perfect balance between sadness and hope. I’ve always believed that, as humans, we constantly navigate these two emotions. Capturing this interplay and expressing it through my music felt deeply important to share.“
