Ahead of its official release on November 28, LËPTIC is giving FourFour readers an exclusive first listen to his new single ‘Ngiyajola’, out tomorrow via eViVE Recordings. The track features on the Textures of Sound VA under the VIVa MUSiC Group, and once again showcases the Vancouver producer’s ear for lush, emotive Afro House.

With previous releases on SOM and Harmor Records, and a 2024 opening slot for Meduza at UBC’s Blockparty Festival, LËPTIC has quickly become a rising name in the international Afro House scene. Drawing influence from Arodes, Andrea Oliva, and Shimza, his productions are grounded in rhythm and texture, always aiming to connect deeply with listeners both on and off the dancefloor.

‘Ngiyajola’ blends rolling tribal percussion, layered synths and soulful isiZulu vocals, creating a warm, hypnotic groove that sits between serenity and power. “‘Ngiyajola’ is a track that captures the energy of Afro House while keeping it deeply emotional and atmospheric,” says LËPTIC. “I wanted it to feel like a journey that’s calm enough for sunset listening but powerful enough to move a crowd.”
